A campaign approach to promoting Skills for Life learning opportunities

Test the ... 
  • is a key strand of Move On
  • offers a campaign approach to promoting the improvement of English and maths with achievement built in; using recruiters to engage everyone in a learning opportunity which leads to a national qualification
  • provides an opportunity to engage the whole community or organisation in the challenge and offers an inclusive approach to Skills for Life.
Building on successful pilots in the first project, the Test the ... section of the web site provides manuals to support this approach from conception to evaluation, for the general public (Test the Town) and within the workplace (Test the Company), and reinforces the message of entitlement for all. There are also some inspiring case studies that show what’s already happened.

A wide variety of promotional materials have been designed to support the Test the ... approach, including posters, fliers, handouts, etc. that can be downloaded from the site and customised to reflect specific locations/activities. There is also a range of logos that might provide inspiration for further Test the ...  activities such as Test the Team, Test the Office or Test the County.
